Few people cannot have heard 'The Wild Mountain Thyme', the lilting folk song popularised during the folk revival that now holds anthemic status worldwide. 'Wild Thyme' is a new and daring treatment by Wild Biscuit, with a hot Summer groove, some fiery instrumental magic and a teasing role reversal in the lyric that is both Highland mystery and Downtown chic.

Produced and recorded in The Ancient Kingdom of Dalriada, home of the Celt, 'Wild Thyme' includes performances from Glasgow vocalist Pamela Newlands who is currently in LA and names you may already be aware of on the Scottish music scene - Brian McAlpline on accordion and Claire McLaughlin, fiddle.
